Working with businesses in Tasmania and beyond

Websites · search · branding · business systems

01 / Where to begin

You may not need to start from scratch.

Sometimes all you need is a clearer website, an updated business listing or an easier booking process.

I'll look at what you already have and talk through what's getting in the way. We can then decide what to keep, what to improve and whether anything needs replacing.

02 / Services

What I can help with

You can come to me for a new website, help with search or a better way to manage the admin. We can work on one problem at a time.

01

Search and branding

Help customers find you

Make it easier for people to find your business and understand what you offer. I can review your search listings, organise your website content and help your branding feel consistent.

  • Search engine optimisation (SEO)
  • Local business listings
  • Brand styles and messaging

02

Web design

A website that suits your business

Build a new site or improve the one you have. The focus is on helping customers find the information they need and making it easy to enquire or book, on a phone as well as a computer.

  • Website design and development
  • Enquiry forms and booking systems
  • Accessibility and speed checks
  • Handover and instructions

03

Systems and automation

Less repetitive admin

If you're copying the same information between inboxes, spreadsheets and other tools, there's often a simpler way. I can help connect those tools and assess where automation or AI would be useful.

  • Connecting your existing software
  • Automating routine tasks
  • Reports and data
  • AI tools with human review

04

Ongoing support

Keep your website up to date

Get help with routine updates, checks and small changes after launch. We'll agree on what's included, the cost and how to request work before support begins.

  • Content and software updates
  • Website health checks
  • Small fixes and improvements

03 / Common problems

Does any of this sound familiar?

Your website is out of date or hard to use

Customers struggle to find basic information or work out how to book. I'll review the content and layout with you. A few changes may be enough; a full rebuild isn't always needed.

People have trouble finding you online

I'll check your business listings and how your site describes what you do. Missing information, inconsistent contact details and poorly organised pages are useful places to start.

Your brand no longer reflects the business

Your services have changed, but your website still describes the business as it was. I can help update the wording and make better use of your existing branding.

Your team repeats the same admin

You might be entering each enquiry into a spreadsheet or moving booking details between systems by hand. We'll work through one task and see which steps can be removed or automated.

You're wondering whether AI would help

Tell me what you'd like it to do. We'll consider the information it would need, how mistakes would be caught and whether a simpler tool would do the job. Anything using AI needs appropriate checks before you rely on it.

04 / How it works

What to expect when we work together

We'll agree on the work and price before building starts. If something needs more investigation, I'll explain that first.

  1. 01

    Have a conversation

Tell me about your business, what's causing trouble and what you'd like to change.

  2. 02

    Agree on the work

I'll set out what's included, what it will cost and what I'll need from you.

  3. 03

    Build and test

You'll see the work as it develops and have time to give feedback. I'll check that it works before it goes live.

  4. 04

    Hand over

You'll get the access details and instructions you need, including any ongoing costs. We can discuss support if you'd like help after launch.

05 / About

I'm Lewis, the person behind Grove & Grid.

I run an independent digital consultancy in Hobart, working with small businesses in Tasmania and beyond.

My background is in enterprise IT, networking, cybersecurity and service delivery, as well as websites, data and reporting. That helps me look beyond the website itself to the systems you use each day.

I'll explain the options in plain language and recommend something you can realistically manage. Your business should own its accounts and assets wherever possible, and know how to access them.

06 / Get in touch

Tell me what you need a hand with.

Email me a little about your business and what you'd like to improve. A link to your current website is helpful if you have one. You don't need a formal brief.
